Hinterglem
is an excellent resort just up the valley from Saalbach. Both resorts
share the same lift network, and together offer fantastic skiing
for all levels. Hinterglem enjoys the benefit of a road tunnel which
takes traffic away from the pedestrianised main street, which is
full of lively bars and restaurants.

Hinterglem in summer
All watersports available in the lakeside town of Zell am See 19 km. Swimming
pool. Tennis, 9 hole golf course. Riding, paragliding. 4 mountain lifts
and cable cars, walking paths. 160 km of mountain bike tracks. Amusement
park "Mrchenwald".
Hinterglemm in winter
Ski area: Saalbach-Hinterglem-Leogang, 200
km of ski runs. 11 cable cabins, 17 chair lifts, 28 drag lifts. Snow park,
halfpipe. Ski school, childrens ski school. 10 km High altidude pistes,
1003 m high, 35 km winter walking paths. Toboggan-runs. Ski bus (free of
charge).
Access:
Saalbach Hinterglemm is close to three major airports. The closest is Salzburg,
only 90km (56 miles) away, whilst Innsbruck is 160km (100 miles) with the
larger international airport at Munich 200km (125 miles) away. With
the village centres pedestrianised and a good ski bus service during the
day time there is a wide choice of indoor and outdoor car parking. The nearest
rail station is at Zell am See (19km/ 12 miles), with a regular bus service
to the resorts.
