Kappl is a pretty little resort with its own ski area
situated a 10 minute drive from well-known Ischgl. There are excellent
beginner and intermediate slopes above the village. One of the main
attractions is that Ischgl forms part of the Silvretta lift pass which
covers Iscgl and Galtur, and from where you can ski across into the Swiss
duty-free zone of Sasmnaun for lunch.
The Sivretta pass covers 42 ski lifts and 200 km of well
kept pistes with around 20 km of off-piste skiing.
Kappl is a quiet and relaxed resort. It has good bars and
restaurants and shops for all general needs. For more facilities visit
nearby Landeck and Ischgl, or St Anton, which is about 30 km away.

Access:
The nearest
international airport is Innsbruck, 110km (69 miles) away, the larger
international airports of Zurich in Switzerland and Munich in Germany are
each about 250km (157 miles) away.
Rail users can get as far as Landeck, 25km (16 miles) from the village by
bus or taxi. Driving is not permitted in Ischgl between 10pm and 6am
and parking is strictly policed for the benefit of all guests. A free
(for guest car/lift pass holders) ski bus service operates throughout the
area. The centre of the village is a predominantly pedestrian zone.
Only private parking is allowed in the village centre except in short term
car parks and not in the cable car parks at night (strictly between 3am and
7am). Cars breaking this rule are towed away at the owner's expense.
There are
two large underground car parks with a total capacity of 800 vehicles.
