Leogang
is a collection of small villages strung along the valley floor
across the mountain from the much larger resorts of Saalbach and
Hinterglem. Leogang is connected to these resorts, which together
offer fantastic skiing for all levels. A smart, modern gondola takes
skiers and snowboarders up to 1,758m, from where a quad-chair and
a six-seater chair link you into the Saalbach circuit. Five cross-country
trails total more than 40km, and snow rafting is also available.
Nightlife centres on the Outback Bar at the bottom of the gondola.

Leogang in summer
All watersports available in Zell am See 19 km. Tennis, golf course 18 hole
in Saalfelden 7 km, 4 more golfcourses within a radius from 20 km. Riding.
Summer tobbogan run, long 2 km in Saalfelden. Cable cabins, walking path,
mountain tours. Bicycle paths, bicycles for hire.
Leogang in winter
Ski area: Saalbach-Hinterglem-Leogang, 200
km of ski runs. 11 cable cabins, 17 chair lifts, 28 drag lifts. Snow park,
halfpipe. Ski school, childrens ski school. 10 km High altidude pistes,
1003 m high, 35 km winter walking paths. Toboggan-runs. Ski bus (free of
charge).
Access:
Located on the 164 road from St Johann to Saalfelden, Leogang is easy to
reach with the nearest international airport at Salzburg 170km (107 miles)
away. It has its own mainline rail station.
