A snow-sure traditional
village nestling beneath its own 3000 metre glacier, Les Diablerets
is a skiers' paradise. As well as its own 50 km of slopes, half
of which are on the glacier, easy links to Villars and Leysin open
up the Alpes Vaudoises. For a further 10 CHF it is possible to ski
in Gstaad, 15 km away, and also the Lenk-Adelboden region. There
are plenty of runs for beginners and intermediates, whilst advanced
skiers and boarders will find marvellous off-piste areas.
The village is small, unspoilt and
friendly. Night-life is quiet and revolves around the restaurants.
