Seefeld is picturesque, fashionable, chic and very well
equipped. There are two ski areas linked by bus, and superb cross country
skiing. There are downhill runs to suit all levels.
The pedestrian streets and village square are lined with
stylish boutiques. There's a good choice of Tyrolean restaurants, plus good
value pizzerias, cafes, bars and night spots.
Facilities for non-skiers are excellent with the Olympia
Centre's three pools, skating and curling rinks for starters.

Access:
The Seefeld Olympia
Region is easy to reach from several major airports, the closest Innsbruck
is only 21 km (13 miles) away. Munich is approx. 140 km (87 miles) and
Zurich approx. 300 km (187 miles).
Drivers from the north should take the A95/E533 route via
Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mittenwald to Seefeld. If that route is busy an
alternative is the B11 federal road (exit Penzberg - Iffeldorf). From the
south take the A12 motorway, exit Zirl Ost, Zirler Berg then follow 11 km (7
miles) on the B177 federal road or exit Telfs Ost on the Mserer Strasse
road. There is a railway station in the village on the "Karwendelbahn" line
between Innsbruck and Garmisch.
